We offer two complete programs that are ideal for taking novice divers through to either Divemaster or Instructor level.

Content

Live life on the beach! ScubaMasters lead shore dives, night dives, boat dives, weekend dive trips, overseas dive trips, assist on courses and work in our dive centres. This provides a pretty good lifestyle of outdoor adventure being around great people looking for fun. This course is perfect if you have always dreamed of working in the diving industry and do not have much, if any diving experience, however a curiosity about marine life and a love of the water helps!

Structure
The course runs over a 6 weeks full time or around 12-18 weeks part time.
During the first section you will be introduced to the basic principles of diving and then you will gain more experience as you progress through the training program.

Assessment
Assessment is continuous and completed though a process of multiple choice tests, knowledge reviews, presentations and practicals. The learning here is all geared towards have fun and learning through doing.

Career Prospects

There is plenty of scope for employment and on completion this course you can obtain work as a Divemaster across the world opening up numerous opportunities for you. Fundamentally the Divemaster qualification means you can;

• Organize, conduct and supervise recreational diving activities

• Assist PADI Instructors with teaching divers

• Supervise training and recreational diving activities, by planning, organising and directing dives

• Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers and Snorkellers

Once completing this course you have the option of completing your Instructors Certificate which will enable you to teach people to dive

Content

The complete Scuba Instructor Program is perfect for any new diver who wishes to make a career in diving. You will be trained to the highest level and as a Graduate you will be abel to go straight out to find employment. The course is designed to multi-skill you not only as a diver and instructor but across all areas of the dive centre providing you with the safety net and coaching to become an efficient manager and dive centre operator.

Structure
The course runs over a 10 weeks full time or around 26-52 weeks part time.
During the first section you will be introduced to the fundamentals of diving, before progressing to Rescue Diver where you'll be able to stay calm and manage emergency situations as well as preforming first aid. You'll then move into the formal part of the course where you will learn how to be a true professional diving instructor. Finally we will ensure that you get plenty of hands on experience of teaching students so  that you feel fully confident and competent as an Instructor.

Assessment is continuous and is conducted through an ideal mix of practical and theoretical training. You will be tested through a process of multiple choice tests, knowledge reviews, presentations and practicals. The learning here is all geared towards have fun and learning through doing.

Career Prospects

Based on our 40 years of experience we are so confident we can place you at one of our PRO DIVE centres located throughout Asia, The South Pacific, Europe and Australia, Plus a global network of PRO DIVE Partners, in the Caribbean, Central and South America, cruise ships, liveaboards and private yachts, that if we cannot find you a job within 60 days of completing our PRO DIVE Scuba Instructor Program we will pay you $250 per week for up to 4 weeks.
